Father,

Thank You for the gift of marriage and family! We know that You are the Creator of everything in Heaven and on the earth, the magnificent Father from whom all families are named according to Ephesians 3:15. We recognize Your holy and pure design for the marriage covenant as one man and one woman for life. We pray that marriage would be honored by all according to Hebrews 13:4. We seek that Christian marriages would be representative of Christ and His Bride in the earth according to Ephesians 5. Father, help husbands lead their wives with sacrificial love and tenderness and be gentle with their children. Raise up Godly men to be the leaders of their marriages and households and teach their children the Word of the Lord. Help wives to be submissive and respectful to the Godly leadership of their husbands, to keep their household and to nurture their children. We declare that a Godly woman's children will arise and call her blessed and her husband will praise her and cherish her worth. Holy Spirit, have Your way in marriages and households that your Word of truth would flourish and bear much fruit in families who fear the Lord. Let children be filled and baptized in the Holy Spirit from a young age, that they may follow You all the days of their lives. Let children learn the joy of obedience and honoring their mother and father, that it may go well with them according to Your Word. Father, we ask for Your sovereign hand of protection over our children. We plead the blood of Jesus over them! Protect their lives, their innocence, their destinies and the Word of the Lord planted inside of them, and deliver them from the Evil One and the wickedness of the world. We pray for extended family members - grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins - to walk in the bonds of unity in Christ and continue in fruitfulness and godliness. We contend for legacy in generations that will walk with Jesus Christ into the fullness of Your desires for entire families! We curse any dark or demonic stronghold over family names, households and bloodlines by the authority of Jesus Christ. We declare the blood of the Lamb to break generational curses, sins and addictions in Jesus name. Lord, hear the cries of parents and grandparents and call the prodigals home! Let the Father's blessing be upon every family according to Your design for holiness, righteousness, Godly authority and fruitfulness in Jesus name, Amen.
